HPV Vaccination: Prevent Cancer Before It Starts
Protect Today. Prevent Tomorrow.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) represents the most prevalent sexually transmitted infection in the United States. Persistent infection with specific HPV types may result in cervical, vaginal, vulvar, anal, penile, and oropharyngeal cancers. Administration of the HPV vaccine prior to viral exposure is a safe and effective strategy for preventing the majority of HPV-related cancers. This campaign aims to increase HPV vaccination rates among young adult women who have not initiated or completed the vaccine series.
